Makita Dust Extractor Attachment with HEPA Filter Cleaning Mechanism DX16

The Makita Dust Extractor Attachment with HEPA Filter Cleaning Mechanism (DX16) is for use with the 40V max XGT® Brushless 13/16" SDS PLUS AVT® Rotary Hammer (GRH10, sold separately). The Dust Extractor attachment is OSHA Table 1 compliant for Exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica (rule 1926.1153). The dust extractor includes a filter cleaning mechanism designed to help maintain optimum suction efficiency. It captures concrete dust during drilling and is activated by the tool for operator convenience. The efficient HEPA filtration system captures 99.97% of particulates .3 microns and larger. The Dust Extractor Attachment is powered by the motor fan blade in the GRH10 (sold separately) to maintain concrete dust suction performance. The extraction extension allows drilling up to 7" deep and up to 3/4" diameter holes. The DX16 features a depth stop adjustment button, allowing for accurate drilling depth. It features a transparent dust container that provides a visible fill level and can hold up to 50 fl. oz. of dust.
