The Laguna Tools 51″ 2RK (Roller + Combo head) wide belt sander is the perfect machine for any woodworking shop. The belt length is 75″, which ensures longer belt life and cooler operation. This machine is equipped with an 8″ roller and a 4″ roller followed by a wide platen for fine finishing. The 8″ roller handles rougher grit for dimensioning while the 4″ roller with platen handles finer grit for finishing, saving time and reducing the need for multiple runs. With a 30 HP main motor, this machine can dimension even wide boards. The heavy carpet feed belt is powered by a separate 2 HP motor with variable feed speed from 12 to 60 FPM.
Thickness can be adjusted in four ways: manually via hand-wheel, using the up/down arrows, entering a dimension on the keypad, or with the auto thickness gauge.
