The blade of the DEWALT 1/2-inch x 100-foot long tape is double sided, with fractional-inch graduations on one side and decimal-foot marks on the other. Graduations are embossed in black on a yellow background so they're easy to read. The tape housing of the DEWALT fiberglass long tape consists of a hard, durable polymer, and the hand crank for reeling the tape back in is arched slightly from the housing for more ergonomic control. A 3:1 retraction-gear ratio lets you retract the tape quickly, enhancing work efficiency. A grade-stake loop and beefed-up hook provide secure fasteners for one-person measuring.
